The Mission of Mansfield All-Stars is to provide year-round sports training, education and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children with intellectual disabilities. We began in 1986 by Harriet Kaker, and Maurie James and the help of Imogene Gideon, the director MISD Director of Special Education at the time. They started with six athletes and two coaches. From those simple beginnings the program currently has over seventy five athletes and twenty coaches. We participate in Aquatics (Swimming), Athletics (Track & Field), Basketball, Bocce, and Bowling.
